It's fine food but I bought the $15 for $25 deal on yelp and got hosed when the place would not except it. Now I am out $15

they have a sweet patio in the back and they're dog friendly which is a big plus. but the service left a lot to be desired. we had to ask twice for water, and our emo-haired server was no where to be found for a good while. he apologized for getting slammed, but it wasn't busy when we got there and it wasn't busy when we left, so draw your own conclusions. my pizza was missing a topping and it was room temp by the time i got it. other customers on the patio were neglected and one of the other tables got their food messed up as well. so, i guess if you're sitting on the patio, you might want to prepare yourself to wait a bit longer than you would expect.

My wife and I recently ate at Picci"s. We had a SMALL (?) combination pizza and each had a 16 oz. beer. UNDER $20.00. Pizza was hot, fresh and delicious.

Pizza is pretty cheap, and the service is friendly and relaxed. A fight started in the restaurant which wasn't ideal, but the pizza didn't take very long to come and it was massive. I was still tripping pretty hard from getting really high and bathing/ relaxing in the natural springs, so potentially anything would have tasted good, but I enjoyed it. Overall: Acceptable pizza. 3/5

Most locals eat here routinely. I personally enjoy the carefully prepared salads as I have eaten so many that have brown or outdated lettuce. If I am really treating myself, I order the sweet chili wings - try them and you will wish you had ordered 2 instead of just 1. Friendly laid back atmosphere and often find musicians jamming on Saturday nights. Picci's is an established local fixture.

My wife and I ate at the store out east on Colorado Blvd. We had been out all day touring the countryside and wanted to grab a quick bite before calling it a day. This location has very limited seating and can be best described as your local 'hole in the wall'. Put that aside because the pizza we ordered was delicious. I have a feeling that more locals eat here than tourists. Rest assured however, that the service was great and we felt very comfortable there. Great food and cold beer trumps any of the negatives.

For years I have picked up a Beau Jo's pizza in Idaho Springs on my way to Dillon. Picci's is right across the street from Beau Jo's, but I have never ventured over there. Recently I decided I would try something different, and I am very glad I did. Picci's is a far better value than Beau Jo's, and the pizza is actually very good. I called ahead and ordered a large 16" pie for take out, and it was only $12. The crust was thin, light, and tasty. The sauce was tangy and unique and it didn't leave a bad aftertaste like some pizza sauce. The cheese and toppings were all fine. We also bought one of the cinnamon rolls for a couple bucks, and it was only okay. I would like to try one of their calzones or meatball sandwiches as well. This will probably be my new stop for my mountain trips because you get more pizza for less money than at Beau Jo's. Keep it up Picci's!!

I was very impressed with a menu. They had a variety of food and pizza, and the prices were very reasonable. I ended up getting a salad, and the ingredients were fresh. My boyfriend got chicken alfredo, which he loved. However, the service was not so great. While they were busy, they were not packed to the point where every table was filled. We waited almost an hour for our order, which was just the chicken alfredo and salad. The waitress made herself scarce, and we only saw her three times: When she took our order, once when she checked on us, and when she brought us our check. If given the chance, I would definitely return so I could try some of their pizzas. However, if I were to continue getting service like this, I likely won't return after one or two more times.

Hunger strikes while waiting in I70 traffic... Patio and food was the mission... this was destination. None of us had ever been here and did not know what to expect. I have been to Beau Jo's a million times as a Colorado girl and I have also been to Tommy Knockers a million times... So it was nice to try something new in Idaho Springs. The Patio was hard to find upon entry... there is a door by the bathrooms to the nice little secluded patio. Plenty of Umbrellas and tables-and I bet it is nice at night with all the lights. Our server came out and took our drink orders which would include Water and adult libations as well as our app order(super yummy bread sticks-more a small loaf of bread with cheese and garlic butter and marinara)... we received our soda and beer and margaritas about 10 to 15 minutes later with no water to be found... we had to get the attention of another server to bring water to us. Honestly our server was much much too busy to take notice of the small things... salt, pepper, napkins, water refills, soda refills, plates for both "courses", clearing the table in general, checking in at all... he was however very quick with the margarita refills... that drove me a little nuts. The food was good though. I liked the Chef salad and the Greek Pizza which I split with Ray. The salad was big!! I would say the food was all around pretty good, the service was very shotty and came across as if it was his first day in the biz... I just would rather wait on the alcohol and get the basics of the meal taken care of first... water, napkins, etc. He even tried to cool the situation off by saying he knew we were neglected... an attempt at an apology... very nice i thought... at least he he recognized he was off. I may return... but I know that I will probably sit at the bar if I do... -----We talked to another table on the Patio and their food was messed up... the got the wrong salad and they forgot the Parm on the Chicken Parm... as well as some other stuff... But he took the Chicken Parm off the bill which helped their mood. They apparently just got really busy inside. -----

So good! We had a meatball sub, it was super super good. The Greek pizza was also great. Everything was made as we ordered it, so it was fresh and good. Super friendly staff, they made sure we were happy several times. It's located a little under a mile from the congestion of downtown. Definitely recommended!

I really like this pizza. It is my go-to pie in town now. It reminds me of the pie I get when in Philly.. New york style with a twist. The cheese blend is great and toppings all taste fresh. Me and my gf can kill a whole extra large... "not really bragging about our ability as much as the quality of the product" lol Anyway the pizza is worth 4 stars but the last time my gf picked up a pie the folks who own the place were so nice and helpful im throwing in the 5th start for customer service!! GREAT JOB PICCI'S!

Service was horrible, we waited quite a while before anyone came to take our order, it seemed as if it was take your child to work day. As we waited we decided to order some lasagna as take out and eat at home. Big mistake the noodles were mushy it had no flavor and I'm pretty sure the " baked fresh daily" on the menu is false. We have eaten here once before and had their pizza, we weren't impressed but thought we would give it another chance. We won't make that mistake again! A one star rating is pretty generous.

Friendly service. The pizza is decent. What I can't figure out (or don't want to) is why there are two bar stools in the bathroom?

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
